On Saturday, February 20th, 2016, our colleague, Michelle Labbe was involved in a car accident in Nashville Plantation, Maine. Michelle lost control of the vehicle she was driving due to terrible road conditions, crossed the roadway and struck a utility pole. Speed was not a factor in the crash. Michelle and her passengers were taken to The Aroostook Medical Center by ambulance. Her passengers were later released with minor injuries, however, Michelle was life-flighted to Eastern Maine Medical Center. Information on the accident can be found here: https://bangordailynews.com/2016/02/21/news/aroostook/three-injured-after-vehicle-strikes-utility-pole-in-the-county/ Michelle sustained major injuries including a shattered leg, broken thumb and four broken ribs. Michelle is now faced with a very long road to recovery. She will be unable to work for three to six months. In addition to the physical and emotional toll caused by the accident, Michelle will also face several financial burdens. This GoFundMe account has been set up as a way for friends and family to show their love and support for a hardworking and incredible person. No donation is too small. Together we can provide tremendous financial relief for Michelle and her family. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
