The City of Laconia, NH Department of Public Works is seeking a responsible individual to serve in the position of GIS Coordinator to oversee the development, management and maintenance of geographic information systems for the City. The Coordinator will oversee compliance with the EPA National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements relating to sanitary sewer and stormwater system mapping.  Tasks will focus on GPS mapping, asset research, asset management, data entry and use of GIS and CAD software. Position description is available in the Finance Office and at www.city.laconia.nh.us  under Personnel Department / Employment. Salary Range is $19.85 - $25.75

 

Minimum qualifications include two years of post-secondary level education, or technical school with a focus on GIS technology, engineering, geography, forestry or related field and three to five years of progressively responsible experience with ESRI GIS software OR any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
