The USGS has released another set of engravings for purchase. They must be picked up in Reston VA.

You will find a link to the indexes in the PDF Release 3 notes.

I have one party interested in purchasing a set of engravings. If you are interested in purchasing a set also let me know. I would be willing to drive if others were willing to share some of the expenses.

GSA is assisting with the excess of copper engravings once used to reproduce US Geological Survey's (USGS) topographic and geologic maps. The engraved plates are located at the USGS warehouse, 302 Victory Blvd, Herndon, VA 20171.  The SF 120 and spreadsheet of the available sets is attached for your review.  Additional information about the sets is available upon request. Screening of the property ends on June 11, 2015.

Please contact Charles Thompson at 703-648-7274 ([log in to unmask]) and Michael Domaratz at [log in to unmask] if you have questions specific to the engravings.

Due to the large quantity of sets available, transfers are being processed offline. If you are interested in making a request send a list of the sets you are interested in with the order number listed.

 

You will also need to send me the following:

Federal:
A SF 122, Transfer Order, signed by an accountable Property Officer along with your Activity Address Code (AAC).

State Agencies:
A signed SF 123, Transfer Order signed by an Approving Official.

DOD:
A DD-1348 or DD-1149, signed by an accountable Property Officer along with your DoD AAC.
