On Monday, March 9th, Craig Larrabee again testified in support of this request as part of the Governor's budget and indicated that there >was a 2 to 1 match proposed or $500,000 in private funds to match the $250,000 of state funds requested. The committee work session has not yet been scheduled for this bill. Thanks for the updates, Laurie. It sounds like a duplication of what we're already doing, particularly those of us in SSS--and we're all well established on our campuses. I can't imagine a JMG advisor being plopped down on the UMaine campus and successfully integrating into all the departments, and having an impact on retaining high risk students. And would UMaine give a non-employee access to MaineStreet? I have even more questions about this bill now that you've provided the updates. Alan
