The regional is inFargo, not Sioux Falls (due to the logo controversy?)

It is sold out, but they are playing at the Scheels Arena that seats only 5000 for ice hockey instead of the home arena, Ralph Englstad which seats 11,600, and is 80 miles away. With a rabid following like they have they could have had the regional in St. Paul and sold out the Excel too.

The only way to fix the Denver-St. Cloud matchup is by pairing St. Cloud and Michigan Tech, so GF gets the dogfight.

Assuming you bump Minnesota and BC down one (which is what they did in the actual bracket), that means the Denver-BC game would be in Oxford, and the biweekly Minnesota-Minnesota-Duluth game would be in Boston.

(Just as an aside, I think the last two teams that toured this much together were the Harlem Globetrotters and the Washington Generals....)

Anyone have any thoughts on the NCAA making notice of going back to home first round sites?

I was wondering how this might have changed the seeding procedures since attendance and some other issues would be removed from the equation.
