It's election time for the Student Association at
University College Ellsworth!

The Student Association (SA) oversees the spending of student activity fees
on events and activities to enrich the college experience for all students
attending classes through the off-campus center in Ellsworth. The SA also
engages in fundraising for local charities.

The SA is made up of students who are elected by the local student body,
and SA members meet every other week for one hour. SA members also
participate in events and activities they plan.

The SA has a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Budget and Finance
Manager, and Student Body Representatives.  Students elected to the SA
serve for one year.

If you are interested in joining the SA, please see Ann Delaney for a
nomination form and information about SA officer responsibilities.
Nominations start today and end Friday, March 6 at 4PM when nomination
forms must be returned to Ann.

SA Elections will be March 16 - March 20.  Election results will be
announced March 23rd, and a welcome luncheon for SA members is tentatively
scheduled for March 27th.

Serving on the Student Association is an opportunity to support the
students attending classes through the Ellsworth Center, develop leadership
skills, and have fun!  Please join us!
