Good morning all,

This was in the GIS Café this morning and I thought some of you might find this blog interesting for its view on the BFF’s union between ESRI and Google.

http://www10.giscafe.com/blogs/mobilegis/2015/02/04/google-esri-and-the-huge-geospatial-for-business-opportunities/#more-1164

It makes me pause again to think about where government sponsored GIS data development and data sharing fit in a world where GIS mapping is being commercialized and fed to the masses in far greater quantities and variety than ever before.

Does anyone have any thoughts they would like to share?
