EDT 559 Essentials for Educational Technology Leaders.  ** 
Focuses on the management of computer technology at the school or district level. Students will grow into instructional technology leaders in the areas of school change, budgeting, law, and resource management. Case problems and local fieldwork will provide insight into the administrative operations regarding computer technology. Two or three sessions using Google Hangout are planned.

EDT 520 Methods of Teaching with Computer Technology *
(fits DOE certification methods requirements)
Provides practical and understandable information about integrating technology in K-12 classrooms. Examines tool applications multimedia and categories of software. Explores ways to support learning.

EDT 527 Networking and Troubleshooting Basics for Educators
This course is for those who want to learn a little more about how their computer works and how it communicates on the Internet. At the end of this course participants will be able to make sense of the mess of wires in that server closet. Content will be appropriate for everyone from the beginning computer user as well as the intermediate user

Exploration of how telecommunications can be used to support teaching and learning in K-12 environments. Web 2.0 resources will be investigated.    This predominately self-paced course is suitable for library media specialists, classroom teachers, and any educator who is interested in harnessing the educational power of the Internet.  3 graduate credits.
