participant AND a presenter or exhibitor.Participant registration will
begin in May.*

*An Invitation to Submit Ideas for Presentations and Exhibits*
The Maine Beaches Conference works to provide continuing opportunities for
communication and exchange of the most current information among beach
stakeholders with diverse interests, and to present the findings from the
state’s beach monitoring programs. To promote this diversity of stakeholder
interests among our speakers and exhibitors, the conference steering
committee invites proposals for presentation topics and exhibits. Read more

   - Weighing the options: understanding the challenges of living on the
   coast.
   - Getting ready: preparing for and adapting to the future.
   - Living with the beach: the nature, culture, and art of our beaches.
   - Identifying the trends: monitoring, research and emerging issues.
   - Meeting at the beach: balancing user needs and values.
   - Caring for beaches: partnership and stewardship
   - Using best practices and following the rules: coastal engineering and
   regulation
