Participant registration will begin in May.


An Invitation to Submit Ideas for Presentations and Exhibits
The Maine Beaches Conference works to provide continuing opportunities for communication and exchange of the most current information among beach stakeholders with diverse interests, and to present the findings from the state’s beach monitoring programs. To promote this diversity of stakeholder interests among our speakers and exhibitors, the conference steering committee invites proposals for presentation topics and exhibits. Read more here

  • Getting ready: preparing for and adapting to the future.
  • Living with the beach: the nature, culture, and art of our beaches.
  • Identifying the trends: monitoring, research and emerging issues.
  • Meeting at the beach: balancing user needs and values.
  • Caring for beaches: partnership and stewardship
  • Using best practices and following the rules: coastal engineering and regulation
To submit your ideas
Please download and complete the proposal form here and email to Kristen Grant, Maine Beaches Conference coordinator at [log in to unmask] by December 12, 2014. If you have difficulty accessing the form or have other questions, please  email Kristen or call 207-646-155 ext 115. If submitting multiple ideas, please provide the information for each idea in a separate email.
