No, the official “National Ice Age Trail” is in Wisconsin and is a hiking trail.  The “Ice Age Trail” in eastern Maine has no official status and is mostly a driving tour of sites that illustrate aspects of Maine’s glacial history.

They also mention the “national Ice  Age Scenic Trail”. I wonder if Woody Thompson’s (retired Maine Geological Survey) section is in it?

Newly released US Topo maps for Maine now feature segments of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail (A.T.).  Several of the 715 new US Topo quadrangles for the state now display parts of the A.T. along with other improved data layers.
