Please join us for the Maine GIS User Group Annual Meeting and Fall Conference which will be held on Monday September 8, 2014 at Schoodic Institute in Winter Harbor, Maine. The meeting agenda has  been posted and Registration is open on the MEGUG website at http://megug.org/. There will be two concurrent tracks to choose from with workshop style presentations and a lobster bake for lunch. Lodging is available for $75/person/night for a private bedroom in a shared 2 or 4 bedroom apartment.  Reservations can be made at 207-288-1310.

The annual meeting is also the time when  we elect board members. If you have been looking for a way to become more involved in the GIS community here in Maine – this is a great opportunity. We are looking to fill 2 open board positions and to add some fresh new faces and ideas to the organization. If you are interested in becoming a board member, please submit a brief (100 words) bio of your experience and why you would like to be a part of the MEGUG board to [log in to unmask] by August 15 at the latest. Bio’s will be posted to the MEGUG website prior to the meeting for members to review. Ballots will be handed out at the registration desk at the annual meeting and results will be tallied and announced during lunch.

We hope to see you there!
