So much for the embellishment call on Marotta. You'll never get a referee to admit he calls what he thinks sees, not what happened. Embellishment is a call better left uncalled IMHO.
The rest of the story is that Ryan's absence Friday at Matthews Arena will be significant. Arguably, NU has the best goalie in the country and a number of dangerous forwards. Maine will have to be better in all areas than the MC series to have a chance to win. Changing lines may make us better in the playoffs, but will make this series very tough.
