or in the greater Bangor area ... WVII Ch 7.

The BC game will also be on Fox College Sports, with the local broadcast on Bangor's Fox22.

The announcer for TV games this year is Dan Hannigan.  Dan still does radio (WVOM/103.9 locally, but with affiliates) ... Whew!

You can see which games have what TV on the UMaine sports site:

GoBlackBears.com -> Men's Ice Hockey -> Schedules/Results

Also, if you have decent internet access, the home games are streamed ... go to the same place ... and the video is available for past games.  There is a fee for this.   If you use this, be prepared  for lots of problems.  I was in my office on the UMaine campus (great connectivity) for the 1st 2 periods of the BU game.  Long stretches appeared more like a slideshow than video, but it was better than nothing.  Nicely, I was able to run over to the arena to catch the 3rd period.

Cheers, Wayne

Cool!  Great score!  What channel were they on?

I got the chance to see UMaine hockey on TV last night for first time this year.

I will admit that I've been skeptical about the "Red Gendron era" as being an immediate tonic for what ails Maine.  I am not going to get too wrapped up in one game, but I saw some very positive things.  Most noticeable differences were how Maine no longer just dumps the puck in, they carry it so much more (yes!).  The forecheck (at least the lead forechecker) is far more aggressive (and with a purpose).  I also love that new line of Byron/Brown/ Morgan.  Hutton has also improved a lot since last year.  His 3x5 SHG was also an example of the condition he is in because he out sprinted the defenseman after having been killing penalties.

A lot to like based on what I saw.  BC game next week will be a real test though.
