Our latest effort to acquire LiDAR data for Maine  will take place this fall. The NRCS, USGS and Maine GeoLibrary have teamed up to acquire data in Kennebec, Cumberland, York and a small portion of southern Oxford county. Woolpert (http://www.woolpert.com/ ) has been awarded the contract for acquisition and will be staging planes to Maine as soon as practical after leaf off in October or early November. They are looking for additional work while they are here and will probably be quite competitive on smaller projects that can be done in conjunction with this larger acquisition.
