Welcome!

Please help us welcome the newest member of our Business Office staff, Michelle Armes. Michelle serves as an Administrative Specialist and will cover afternoon and evening hours at the center. Michelle brings a wealth of visual design skills to the center and will be strengthening our online and social media efforts.

Farewell to our favorite tutor!

After more than ten years of service as a Math Tutor, Manny Sargent has announced his official retirement from his volunteer role. He is already terribly missed at the center! Solving complex equations is just not the same without Manny at our side.

Connect with a tutor this summer

Don’t let your classes get away from you this summer. Wendy Wright, Computer Tutor, is available on Tuesdays from 9 am to noon. Andy Shatto, Math Tutor, is available on Mondays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Need help creating a thesis, citing a source, or punctuating a sentence? The UMA Writing Center offers these and other tutoring services by phone, email, and videochat. Work from UCBB or from home. Call (207) 621-3199 to access tutors Monday – Thursday, 9-4. Email [log in to unmask] with an attached essay for feedback within 48 hours.
