Sorry for the email deluge this morning - this is the last one

The Maine Office of GIS has updated the 2' contours in the data catalog to include the elevations in English units. This was an oversight in the process from the first publication of these data which only had metric elevations (even though they are 2' contours). Now they show the spiffy 2' values in a field as well. The geometry has not been changed, only another attribute added. Available on our data catalog from www.maine.gov/megis<http://www.maine.gov/megis>.

The Maine Office of GIS is pleased to release the Maine Stream Habitat Viewer. This viewer allows users to view and query the status of various stream passage barriers (culverts, bridges, etc.) and see the upstream and downstream characteristics of the stream in which the barrier resides. It is designed as a tool to aid organizations (typically DOT, towns, etc.) in a position to replace such barriers to see the impact such barriers can have and how alternatives could help fish passage. Available from our maps and services page on www.maine.gov/megis<http://www.maine.gov/megis>.

And now I promise - no more emails today! Happy mapping!
