Come to the Hancock County Higher Education Center on Thursday, April 25, between 10:00am – 5:00 pm to learn about Medline Plus – a high-quality online health resource.

Learn how to navigate Medline Plus to find a wide variety of health resources throughout the site. You can search for health topics of interest, cross-reference your medications, learn about the interactions between prescriptions and supplements, obtain accurate health information, and so much more!

The site provides unbiased information on thousands of relevant health topics in interactive and fun ways such as:

•             Wellness calculators

•             Educational games and activities for all ages

•             Anatomy videos (a great resource for students)

•             Surgery videos (for those with a strong stomach)

•             Interactive quizzes

Medline Plus is a service of the National Institutes of Health and the National Library of Medicine. It brings scientifically validated health information to patients, families, caregivers, and learners of all ages.
