*Register now for summer*

Registration for *summer 2013
courses*<http://learn.maine.edu/bath/courses-programs/course-schedule/>is
open on all campuses. UMA summer course registration is open without
payment until* 5/6*. Starting on* 5/6 *payment is required at the time of
registration and self-service registration is no longer possible for UMA
courses.

*Register for fall*

The *fall 2013 course*<http://learn.maine.edu/bath/courses-programs/fall2013/>registration
is open on all campus except for UM Orono which opens on
*4/30*. Call 442-7736 to schedule an advising appointment with *Lisa Whitney
* or *Dennis Unger*.

Thanks for your generous support for the Student Association’s bake sale to
raise money for the *Paul Hanley Memorial Scholarship
Fund*<http://learn.maine.edu/bath/files/2013/01/paulhanleymemorialscholarshipappfall13.pdf>.
The sale raised more than $130 for future scholarships! Paul Hanley was a
Phippsburg resident and long-time student at University College who passed
away in 2010; the scholarship was established in his honor by fellow
students. Hanley was awarded his Bachelor of Arts degree posthumously at
the University of Maine at Augusta 2011 commencement ceremony.
Congratulations to our two Fall 2013 Paul Hanley Memorial Scholarship
recipients: *Kimberly Merrill* and *Donna Patrick*.

The Student Association will celebrate our

Friday, *5/3*, 5 to 7 pm, at the Bath Golf Club. Join us for hors
d’oeuvres, a brief program, and graduate gifts. This event is free for a
graduating student and a guest; for all other community members the cost is
$15, paid in advance. This is a non-alcoholic event. Email *Lisa

advanced payment. Remaining
seating is limited.

A book buy-back is scheduled for Thursday, *5/9* from 11 am to 7 pm in the
center lobby.

Attend the *Creating Your Future: Career Planning for the New Economy

* offered by the Maine centers for Women, work and Community. The workshop
meets at University College at Bath/Brunswick on Tuesdays and Thursdays,

The University of Southern Maine is holding an *open

campus.
