Where: Hancock County Higher Education Center, Ellsworth

When: April 8th to May 10th ─ Opening Reception Friday, April 12, 3:00 – 5:00 pm

 

 If you are or have been a student artist, please consider entering one piece of artwork for the exhibition. SUBMISSIONS: Each artist may submit one piece of framed artwork for display in the Center’s lobby. *Deliver your work to the Center’s lobby Thursday, March 28th between 1PM - 5:00 pm. Wall space is limited but additional pieces may be brought in on Thursday, March 28th to be photographed. We will display the additional pieces on the Center’s web site and on a running slide show in the Center lobby.

Tuesday, March 26th
TEACHING AS A CAREER, 1:00-2:00 pm Room 2
Meet Erica Mazzeo, Curriculum Director, RSU #24 and learn as she talks about skills and qualities RSU #24 looks for in perspective employees, the current job market, and the outlook for the next 4-6 years.

Thursday, March 28th
MENTAL HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, noon-1:00 pm Room 4
Rick Otto, from Maine Pre-Trial Services and George Runnells, from the Bangor Veteran’s Administration Center will talk about the challenges and rewards of addiction counseling and working with veterans.

Friday, March 29th
COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS 1:00-2:00 pm Room 8
Diana Kokoska, Instructor, UMA CIS program and Martha L. Williams, University of Maine, Analyst/Programmer will talk about where can you take your CIS degree and career choices.

Registration for Summer & Fall starting March 25 for University students and April 1st for EMCC students.
