*Registration for Spring Term Continues*

Through tomorrow (January 4) you can register for classes with no payment,
or proof of financial aid. Self service is available in Maine Street. After
January 5th you will need payment or proof of financial aid in order to
register and self-service will no longer work.

Classes start Monday, January 14. Pay close attention to add-drop dates at
all of the campuses where you are registered because they may differ!
Remember that it is not okay to just not show up to class. You must drop
it through the URock office or the campus registrar.

*Onsite Courses of Special Interest for Spring*

Here are few to notice:

*ART 109: Photographic Vision and Digital Discovery* – Have you seen some
of the lovely photos on the URock web site and Facebook page taken by
students in ART 109? These students have really perfected their vision! Dee
Peppe will be offering this one again which counts as a “performing art”.
It will run on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:00 – 9:00PM. Learn great
skills to use every day as a proficient photographer!

you.Examine the pros and cons of owning your own business, the major
elements of a business plan, and the many resources available to help you
succeed.

Learn how to prepare yourself for the upcoming tax season with a WWC
workshop called, *Tax Prep for the Self-Employed on Wednesday, February 13

*Get Involved at URock*

Research shows that students do academically better, enjoy college more and
take away a broader experience when they get involved in school outside of
the classroom. There are some good student organizations that could use
your help. The Student Association is the local group that sponsors
activities using your student activity fees. They invite you to be a member
of their board. Contact Brent Adams <[log in to unmask]> for more
info. In addition the URock Honors Program sponsors other types of
activities like Expressions Night and community service projects. For more
info on that one contact Richard Fortuna.

of student leaders!
