Thank you for your generous support of the giving tree! Pick up a child’s gift tag from the Salvation Army Giving Tree and buy something to make that child happy for the holidays. Return the unwrapped gifts purchased, along with the gift tag, for the child selected from the Giving Tree by Friday 12/7.
Celebrate!
Shake off your pre-exam stress and join us to celebrate the holidays on Friday, 12/7, from 5 to 7 pm in the lobby. Sample baked goods and hot beverages, enjoy holiday music, and pose with Santa for a photo-op! This is a free event and all students and their families are welcome at this child-friendly event.

Apply for the $500 PeaceWorks Peace Studies scholarship toward a spring 2013 three-credit hour University of Maine Peace Studies course. The application deadline is 12/14.

If you are planning to finish your degree requirements this December or at the end of the spring semester be sure to submit an application for graduation.

Learn to use LinkedIn to strengthen your job search skills. Topics include networking, maintaining a professional online presence, ways to find job postings and more! Build Your Resume Doing Good
Volunteer with the Midcoast CA$H coalition and help individuals and families prepare their tax returns. Gain marketable skills working with people and preparing taxes. FMI: Sharon Ross at 373-1140, ext. 206.

Make plans now to work with one of our writing, math, biology or computer tutors. Connecting with a tutor is the perfect first step for a successful semester! Andy Shatto has new tutoring hours and is now available on Wednesdays, noon to 4 pm.

A book buy-back is scheduled for 12/20 from 11 am to 7 pm in the lobby.
