It was more like a freezer than a refrigerator.  Deanna was nice enough to share her blanket with us.  A few people in the place might make it better.

Tickets were buy one get one free but apparently it wasn't helping to draw the fans.  Very sad.

I usually go up to Brown for the RPI game (I only live 25 minutes away from Brown) and your experience is not unusual.  For the past 2 years, there were more RPI fans on hand for the game than Brown fans.  The RPI game is usually in December or January and I've noticed that they keep the rink like a refrigerator.  Last year, I had to bring an extra jacket to put on once I got inside the arena.  Is that still the case this year?

I went to the hockey game last night in Providence.  It was great to get to see a game live but the result wasn't as nice as I had hoped.  The two teams played to a 3-3 tie with Brown coming back with 4 unanswered goals.  Their 4th goal (OT) was disallowed due to a man in the crease.
Here is the link to the box score: http://www.ecachockey.com/men/2012-13/boxscores/20121109_2m55.xml

SLU scorers were Wick, Flanagan and Bruckel.
Brown scores were Pantziris, Lorito and Lappin.

I didn't think they announced NickLappin as the third scorer since I was paying attention for him.  He had an assist on the first goal as well.  Nick is a freshman at Brown and is the son of Pete Lappin (SLU '88.  Peter was an outstanding player at SLU.

Attendance at Brown is pitiful  When we arrived shortly before the game there were more people on the ice tan in the stands.  It didn't change much.  The box score says 950 but I think they multiplied by 5.

It was nice to see fellow Hocker-ler Ray and Deanna.

On to Yale tonight and hoping for a better outcome from the SLU point of view.
