The Maine Office of GIS is pleased to announce the release of its new orthoimagery viewer and download tool.  This viewer replaces the previous one which was based on the ArcGIS Server WebADF framework.  That application framework is now obsolete and so we migrated to a different platform utilizing open-source software such as MapServer and GeoMoose.

The new viewer works similar to the old one in that you can either just view imagery, or download tiles using an index.  Please read the HELP file if you have problems before contacting us.  90% of the calls we get for help with the orthoviewer are explained in the help file.

We hope you find this viewer faster and more intuitive than the previous iterations.  Happy mapping!
