Learn about career decision making and your personality type by signing up for a Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) workshop. This no-cost, three-session workshop will be offered on Tuesday, 7/10, Thursday, 7/12, and Tuesday, 7/17, from 9 to 10:30 am. Space is limited and advance sign-up is required. The Southern Midcoast CareerCenter (275 Bath Road, Brunswick) is offering a Gateways to Employment Workshop on Thursday 6/28 from 9 am to noon. This is a great way to increase your job search success, to gain insight on the latest job search techniques, and to maximize your potential. Call 373-4000 for required workshop registration.

Fall course registration, without payment, is open and ongoing. Please call the center (442-7736) and schedule an advising appointment with Dennis Unger or Lisa Whitney.

Access free, online textbooks

The Open Culture web site includes a compilation of free, online textbooks covering a diverse array of academic subjects and fields. This is a great set of resources to investigate an interest or to use as supplemental material for an upcoming course.

Got Art?

Five River Arts sponsors a monthly art walk in Brunswick (2nd Friday) and Bath (3rd Friday) through October. It is a great opportunity to view local art, visit artists’ studios, and meet the artists.
