Congratulations to everyone who is done with the semester and good luck to folks still completing finals. Make-up exam times for the week of 5/7 will vary based on demand. Please call 442-7736 to schedule a make-up.
Check our hours
Center hours for the week of 5/7 are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 8 am to 8 pm (or later to accommodate class attendance). On Wednesday and Friday the hours are 8 am to 5 pm. The Business Office is open from 8 am to 5 pm the week of 5/7.
Share your celebrations
Congratulations to everyone who is graduating this May. We are expecting record attendance at our local Student Association sponsored graduation celebration on 5/11 (the RSVP deadline has passed). USM and UMA both hold their commencement ceremonies on Saturday, 5/12. We invite you to post your graduation celebration photos on our UCBB Facebook page or email them to [log in to unmask] to be posted.

Sell A book buyback is being held in the Midcoast Center for Higher Education lobby on Wednesday 5/9 and Thursday 5/10 from 11 am to 7 pm.
Begin summer
Summer 2012 courses begin on 5/14. Registration is ongoing and there are additional start dates throughout the summer.
Register for fall courses
With exams behind you now is the time to register for fall courses. Fall course registration, without payment, is open and ongoing. Please call the center (442-7736) and schedule an advising appointment with Dennis Unger or Lisa Whitney. Advising appointments are available during the break week.
Create your future
Shelley Taylor, Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community is holding a “Creating your future: Career planning for trades & technology” class. Participants will: explore in-demand careers, meet employers, discover education options, practice interview skills and learn effective self-marketing. This free class is open to men and women and meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5/29 through 6/19 from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. FMI, or to register 386-1664 or [log in to unmask].
