You can't tell me their isn't something wrong with the program when Maine goes down to Florida, wins the championship and not one person comments on the wins. The support for Maine hockey is going down the tubes. It appears other folks are noticing it also.

Look at the BDN article about the 12 movers and shakers in Maine for 2012, read what they say about Steve Abbott

Trying out my new address.  Thanks!

Any thoughts on the Clarkson win?  Clarkson still received votes in this week's poll.  Although, once again, we did not.

Back from a long Thanksgiving break...

Many eons ago, Joe did take this list under his wing and give us a home and make my life a whole lot easier than a manual distribution list!  I was sad to see Joe go and it is a big loss to the U.

To hear that about Joe comes as no great surprise!  A long-time friend and respected colleague, Joe is the epitome of what I meant when I always told people in other states where I lived that I would be "going home" to Maine ... :-)

To subscribe to ME-Hockey, do ONE of the following:
  • Send e-mail to [log in to unmask]" target="_blank">[log in to unmask] -- The subject line doesn't matter; the body content of the e-mail doesn't matter.  Follow the directions in the e-mail you will shortly receive (which usually means click on the link provided).
  • Direct your web browser to http://lists.maine.edu/archives/me-hockey.html -- Click "Join ..." and follow the directions.  Again, this will result in an e-mail being sent to you. Follow the directions in the e-mail you will shortly receive (which usually means click on the link provided).

Cheers, Wayne

P.S.  Now that Joe Carr is moving on to Providence College, I'll reveal that Joe has been the sponsor of the ME-Hockey mailing list for all these years.  He's always read your contributions, but has never tried to control content.  How good is that?!   ME-Hockey won't be going away anytime soon, but I wanted you to know another of many ways Joe supported our community.

I am glad to see this list has been brought back to life.  Albeit for the wrong reasons.  I don't check this address as often, anyone remember how to subscribe a new address?
