"a stanchion from the new glass fell out"..not what you would expect from a multi-million dollar renovation. Although it didn't happen last night, I think this has happened at least once in every other home game. Has anyone from UMaine facilities made a call to the maker of this system to see what can be done to alleviate this malfunction?

I guess it is the least of all the "malfunctions" at Alfond lately.

I am definitely going to check out more of the women's games - they are free and they play an upbeat style.

You could also add to your "posts and crossbars" that at 1:08 minutes into a PP on Friday, with the River Hawks tongues hanging to their knees, a stanchion from the new glass fell out stopping play to allow Lowell to change up.

That was one dismal, ugly 3rd period.

Joey Diamond had a three goal weekend.  The team had two posts and a crossbar, just missing the net.  Fancy no-look, between the legs and behind the back passes resulted in ... let's see ... no goals.

Boo-birds were heard in the third period before Maine achieved the tying 3rd goal.  The breakaway 4th goal by Lowell  (3 previous goals were on power plays and also in the third period) left the fans  ... speechless.   Not exactly a team-building weekend for Maine :-(
