GMRI's Science Literacy Unconference is this Saturday (December 3rd) from 9am to 3pm.
We're quite excited about this event and the opportunity it will create
for us all to ask questions and learn from each other as we explore the
topic of Science Literacy: How do we get there?
In an Unconference, sessions are not planned or scheduled until the
morning of the event. Session topics are generated from attendees’
interests and expertise. Attendees become the presenters, with topics
decided on that morning over coffee, croissants, and conversation. The
sessions can range from discussing topics of interest, to exploring
resources, to sharing successes and struggles. Come prepared to ask
questions, discuss ideas, share resources, and maybe even lead a
session!
There is still some space available, so please spread the word and tell a friend to register: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/F8HJWHL
