Dear Tech Integrators,

The graduate board at UMaine has just approved a three-course online Certificate program for "Classroom Technology Integrationist."   It is geared for educators who wish to become better at integrating technology with educational goals and objectives.   We wanted to send this information to you because you may know of some tech-reluctant teachers in your school.  Either of these two courses would ideal for them!

EDT 520 - This is a survey course that introduces participants to Google Docs, Voice Thread, social networking for educational uses, and much more. Instructor is [log in to unmask]

EDT 525 - This class focuses on a wide range of Internet resources and how to use them with students. The final project includes developing a Google Lit Trip or an original WebQuest. Instructor is [log in to unmask]

The third course will be offered this summer EDT 550 Video Communication in the 21st Century.  EDT 520 will also be available this summer.
