Special Topics Course in DRA for Spring 2012

Faculty member, Jonathan Potter, has developed a new 300-level drama course for URock in the spring term. “Introduction to Traditional Comedy” will be taught on Monday nights at URock at 7:00PM. For those who have enjoyed Mr. Potter’s courses, “Introduction to Drama”, “Play Production” and “Creative Writing”, this new course will introduce students to the history, theory and practice of commedia dell’ arte, characterized by masked “types”, music, dance, witty dialogue, and all kinds of chicanery. This class promises us great performances in the spring!
