Over a year ago I set up a template for a Moodle course for a resource room teacher.  The intent was to use it as a portal for students to use when they have spare/extra time.  I really want to expand this over the summer hoping that all teachers could use the learning resources when they have remaining time at the end of 40 and 80-minute classes (or even with substitutes when the material is worthy--much better than a study hall).

Some examples of learning opportunities include:
Going through my Diigo and Delicious links and Jim Burke's Learning in Maine wiki should yield some tools for me to add here and in the document over the next day or two.  If your school/classroom has a website or list, that would also be helpful.  I think that many people on our ACTEM listservs would benefit from this discussion.

I just created a Google Doc (http://bit.ly/2011freelearningtools) to list our free learning tools.  You can simply add to the Google Doc, but I do see some real advantages in sharing your lists on our listservs (easy, more people would see them, etc.).  I will transfer the names and websites to the Google Doc.

Thanks in advance for your contributions.  I understand that you may not have much time right now, but leaving just a couple sites off the top of your head would be helpful to all.  We might even motivate teachers and part-time integrators to make some real changes in their classrooms.

Have a great day!

Shawn
