Workshop leader: Ed Brazee Date: May 9, 2011 Time: 4:00 - 7:00 pm Location: Androscoggin Room at USM's Lewiston-Auburn College, 51 Westminster Street, Lewiston, ME Workshop Description: Dealing with cyberbullying is often the focus in many schools. However, larger issues of digital citizenship— responsibilities of students' (digital) lives, Internet safety, digital footprints and reputation management, using social media safely, responsibly, and ethically, and students using the Internet for learning and doing good—are also critical. We will discuss such digital citizenship topics...to get participants to change their online behavior and image if needed, to help teachers/students/parents conceptualize a digital citizenship plan for their schools, and to provide excellent resources on all aspects of digital citizenship. Any questions, please contact Ed Brazee at [log in to unmask] or #207.576.8401. Bring your laptops with you.
