Summer & Fall Registration
Summer and fall course listings are now available. Check out what is offered (including our great UMA & EMCC onsite classes), and call the Center to schedule an advising appointment with Bonnie Sparks or Ann Delaney. Registration for summer and fall for UMA degree students begins on Monday, April 4th; open registration for summer and fall begins on April 7th.  EMCC summer registration is April 4th for all students; EMCC degree candidates can also register for fall on April 4th.
Financial Aid Awards
UMA has begun posting financial aid awards on MaineStreet. The award is based on full-time attendance for fall and spring. You must accept your award and indicate your credit hours for fall, spring and summer; adjustments will be made for part-time attendance and for summer financial aid. UMA summer course registration requires a financial aid award, payment in full, first payment on the payment plan, or a third-party payment authorization. If you receive and accept a work-study award, and are interested in employment at the Center, please contact Marilyn Silsby [log in to unmask].
Cell Phones for Soldiers

Same Day Acceptance and Open House Event
Tell your family, friends and neighbors – Same Day Acceptance Program at the Hancock County Higher Education Center on April 14, 2011 9am -2pm.
Program Purpose: To provide graduating seniors and others who have not made college plans for Fall 2011, with a letter of admission to the liberal studies program at the University of Maine at Augusta or Eastern Maine Community College. We hope Same Day Acceptance will encourage students to attend at the Hancock County Center or on-campus in the fall.
Students should bring a completed application form and high school transcripts. Transcripts must be in a sealed envelope addressed to the appropriate admissions office. The application fee for students applying at Same Day Acceptance will be waived.

Attention December and May Graduates
All UMA and EMCC students who plan to graduate in May must fill out a graduation card or form. They are available at the Center or may be downloaded from the individual campus websites. Let us know if you are graduating so we may include you in our annual graduation celebration in May – watch our website for details! Plan to attend – we have a great time, and family and friends are welcome!

2011 Darling’s Buick Scholarship
