Laura,

You could use the attachment feature of Google Sites to upload the audio and then end users can download the audio and listen or create a file cabinet page just for audio.  If you want them to listen within the Google Site page follow these directions https://sites.google.com/a/apps.edina.k12.mn.us/techresourcesforteachers/embed-audio-in-google-sites
