for the 2011-2012 financial aid year by 2/15. Renewing by this priority
deadline will allow you to be fully considered for all forms of aid and to
also receive an award offer earlier.

Are you leaving
money on the table? If you earned under $50,000 last year,
you can find out if you qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit and get
your taxes prepared for free through the Midcoast Creating Assets, Savings & Hope (CA$H)
Coalition. Tax prep is offered on different dates throughout our
region including: University College at Bath/Brunswick, Thursdays from 4-7
pm., 2/10; &

Build leadership skills
Maine NEW Leadership is a six-day,
residential leadership training program, offered at no charge each June to
undergraduate college women. This 2011 conference will be held 6/2 through
6/7 at the University of Maine at Orono. The application deadline is 3/17.

The Studio
Theatre of Bath is presenting “Almost Maine” the
weekends of 2/11 and 2/18 at the Chocolate Church. Support the talented
local cast including Andy
Shatto.
Volunteer
We are
recruiting volunteers and students who have a work-study award to staff our
business office. Volunteers are eligible to earn a three credit hour UMA
tuition waiver. We are specifically looking for students to cover early
morning shifts and evening shifts. Please contact Arlene Smith

on Wheels routes located in Bath, Brunswick, and Richmond
on Wednesdays & Fridays. Volunteer for one or both days. A commitment
is 2 hours per day, starting at 10:15 am. Mileage is reimbursed. FMI: Sarah
