Leadership Studies Information Session - TODAY! People interested in taking on leadership roles in organizations or in communities may want to explore one of the many opportunities offered by the USM’s Leadership and Organizational Studies certificate and degree programs. The overview of their certificates and degree programs. The presentation will be held at University College at Rockland today, 8/11, from 4-6 pm. Join us!
Double Check Your Financial Aid It is important that the credit hours you register for agree with what you told financial aid you would take! If you decide to increase or decrease your credit hours, make sure to go into Maine Street and change the numbers under the financial aid/student enrollment hyperlink. Otherwise, your aid may not move over to your student account. If you need help, ask a URock staffer.
Logon for Printing Students and faculty must now logon on with their ID's and passwords when sending a printing job to a URock printer. Everyone still prints FREE thanks to the generous support of the URock Student Association. However, the university installed this feature on URock computers as an analysis tool. Please print responsibly.
Semester Opens in Less than Three Weeks! Both Beverly and Deborah are available for summer advising. Appointments should be made through the front office. Registration with payment or proof of financial aid begins Monday, August 16.
Textbooks - Time to Order Please check the UMA bookstore for ways to purchase your textbooks. You may drive to the campus bookstore, order by phone or online. You may also choose to have your books delivered to URock for a smaller shipping fee.
Work Study and Volunteer Opportunities Are you interested in a work study or volunteer job at URock this fall? We rely heavily on our student workers to keep the place running smoothly. If you are interested, please contact Althea Simeone at the front office.
Orientation programs this fall will be held at URock on Wed. Aug 25 at 10AM and on Thurs Aug 26 at 5PM. New students are encouraged to enroll for one of these dates through the front office. We'll cover: ID and library cards; tricks of student technologies; and, understanding your learning style.
