Hi folks – February Finance Affair will be held here at the center on February 17, from 10:00 am – 12:00 Noon. It’s a free workshop and also a very informative workshop. There will be reps here from UMA financial aid, Sally Daniels from MEOC, and Elizabeth Fickett from Maine Community Foundation. They will speak about scholarships and financial aid and how to apply, any essay writing, etc. They will also address the topic of student loans, money management, and understanding the financial indebtedness that you are incurring when accepting these loans.
