The Maine Geolibrary has formed a subcommittee to develop an aerial
photography/orthoimagery program that leverages federal, state, local and
private funding to provide high resolution orthoimagery statewide. We hope to
establish a program that will provide this valuable data resource at lower
cost, at a higher resolution and on a regular basis. The Geolibrary has
recruited a knowledgeable committee to explore options (see below).
Right now the committee is gathering information on past practices and
future needs, and we need your input. If you are able to help, please provide
feedback on the following questions to

1 - Have you collected aerial photography and/or developed
orthoimagery, or know of an entity that has, over the past 10 -12 years? If
so, what is the name of the organization? Please provide any details you may
have (e.g., cost, geographic extent etc.) We are already familiar with the
statewide 2003-2005 program and more recent acquisitions in

and/or orthoimagery in the next year or so? Please provide contact information
