It is perhaps worth noting that "Ezra Pound" was a category unto himself on last week's "Jeopardy" program. Two contenders picked questions from the category, and while one got the response "What is Italy" right, the category questions seemed so difficult or esoteric that no one touched it after those two attempts. But hey--Pound had his shot at the mainstream again, and as was the case in the last century, he proved once again too difficult. Robert Kibler "Death was the first mystery, and it placed man on the track of other mysteries. It raised [induced?] his thoughts from the visible to the invisible, from the transitory to the eternal, from the human to the divine." from "The Ancient City," by Fustel de Coulanges.
