Attribute Definition: Wetland acreage based on shoreland zoning definition (does not include forested wetlands or upland zone)

 

 

Can I forward this back to the geolibrary list (where everybody now thinks the acreage field is wrong)?  Or can you?

People are sometimes confused when the acreage field does equal the value you get from Shape.Area because they don’t realize that the acreage doesn’t include the 250 ft upland zone or, for Shoreland Zoning, forested wetland acres.  It’s in the attribute metadata.

 

 

FYI see comment below regarding acreage fields of shorezone_iwwh - might want to check that.

You need to use shorezone_iwwh, not iwwh.

The files are different.

Also, you need to troubleshoot the shorezone_iwwh before you publish...don’t just drop it into your Shoreland zoning map without checking the acreage field, etc.
