I would vote for the best between all
samples for best clarity of the same kind. With a button option to switch
between Aerial photos to Hyrography, or any other types.

Subject: WMS poll
I'd
like to solicit people's opinions about the orthoimagery WMS we have been
providing. I currently have two more services ready to go, the 1-meter
black-and-white orthos (the original "DOQs" from USGS), and 2008 data
for
What
I want to know is how people feel about having many mapping services in a
single URL, vs. having them broken out into separate URLs (i.e. one URL per web
service).
My
strategy was to have very few URLs, to make it easy for people to remember the
few that are out there, and put as many services into each URL as
possible. That it makes it simpler to manage on our side and simpler for
the user to keep the WMS connections straight on their application.
BUT
there is a downside, and that is different applications support WMS in
different ways. For example, if I put more than 10 layers in a WMS, then
ArcGIS will only turn the first 10 'on' by default. The user is left to
click the others 'on' or 'off'. And in other software such as Google
Earth or QGIS, the user will have to sort through an increasingly long list of
layers to pick the one(s) they want.
So
if you have an opinion one way or the other I'd appreciate hearing it. I
anticipate that next week will bring completion of the 2005-2007 York
