Thank you, Mike - you'll get more informed feedback from other board members. -----Original Message----- From: Maine GeoLibrary [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Smith, Michael Sent: Wednesday, March 26, 2008 11:30 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: URL portal Actually now that I think about it, the GeoLibrary really should have its own domain name. The URLs I previously suggested indicate that the portal is a "maine.gov" system, which is not really true. It is a GeoLibrary system, which just happens to be hosted by Maine OIT for the time being. I took the liberty of trying a few and the domain "mainegeolibrary.org" is available. "geolibrary.org" is not available. Any thoughts on this? ********** Michael Smith Maine Office of GIS -------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTICE: This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the entity or individual to whom they are addressed.
