Apparently "sieve" is a curse word.
I can only assume he was using Maine in the same article with Oregon to give the impression that this was a nationwide epidemic. Considering what goes on at other Hockey East rinks, the name calling during player introductions seems pretty tame.
If you can't find his email, I suppose you could always leave a comment on the blog asking where he gets his information. Judging by the posts so far though, Maine hockey isn't the primary point of concern for his readers.
