Dear Pat: I have seen the Great Solomon Seal in several places and always it seemed to be where it was planted. One place I remember was along a camp road in the Bangor area near Pushaw Lake and another was last year in a city forest in Portland near the edge of the forest area and where at one time a home might have existed as there were other things like lily of the valley, etc. But, it is always nice to see different things. See you at JBS. I am assuming that means it's not native to Maine or it's name has changed? I have found some growing near an old cemetery, so I am guessing it may have been brought there and planted years ago?
