my outdoor thermometer says about 14 degrees. the 8 foot drift outside
my family room is down to about 4.  my street still has packed snow
and ruts.  I watched the fedex gal shovel a path up the hill because
she was unwilling to get up some speed to carry her up. No, i didn't
offer to push.

Weather is better than last weekend because i didn't have to wear a parka
over what some people have characterized as my hostile and abusive
jersey.  I'm just hoping that i can continue to wear it to the phrozen
phour.
