Yolande Gay and I are looking for a couple extra hands to assist us with an invasive weed extraction project tomorrow (Sun, June 4) at 1pm. Sharon Kinsman recently discovered a small area containing Garlic mustard along Route 202 near the Lewiston/Greene line. The site is 2 miles north of Marden's and the plant is spread out along both sides of the highway. If we can get 3 or 4 volunteers, the project should only take 1 1/2 or 2 hours. If you're available to assist, please call me at home sometime today or tomorrow morning. thanks, Rick Speer 783-8463 Rick Speer, Director Lewiston Public Library www.lplonline.org 200 Lisbon Street, Lewiston ME 04240 Office: (207) 784-0135, ext. 208; Cell: (207) 713-4072 TTY: (207) 784-3123; Fax: (207) 784-3011 Email: [log in to unmask] The City of Lewiston does not discriminate against or exclude individuals from its municipal facilities, and/or in the delivery of its programs, activities and services based on an individual person's ethnic origin, color, religion, sex, age, physical or mental disability, veteran status, or inability to speak English.
