Ezra Pound and Education
Conference Dates: Thursday, April 28-Sunday, May 1, 2005

The English Department, Burke Library, Emerson Gallery and the Creative Writing Program of Hamilton College, in conjunction with Colgate University, together proudly announce a conference on April 28-May 1, 2005 to observe the centenary of Ezra Pound's graduation from Hamilton College.  In accordance with the spirit of the occasion, the general conference theme will be "Ezra Pound and Education."  Submission of any proposals for papers or completed panels relating to this general topic are welcome.  Possible panels include, but are by no means limited to:

Hamilton College is located near the foot of the Adirondack Mountains in central New York.  We are located approximately 45 miles east of Syracuse, and about 95 miles west of Albany, on Interstate highway 90.  Either of these cities can be used for flights into the area.
