I have >noticed before that games that were "sold-out" had a >lot of empty seats and I just couldn't imagine THAT >many season ticket holders would miss the big games! If you see an empty seat in the center of the arena, it is almost for sure a season ticket holder no-show. If you look at the upper rows of sections FFF and MMM, you'll have a great gauge on how close to a "sell out" the game is, for they sell those (restricted view) seats last. I don't know of an admission mismanagement, but I do think Nero is trying to put paying customers and students in the seats, while generally requiring the administration and staff provide excellent customer service. And I sure hope Patrick Nero loves it here and decides to stay for more than a while. For like Walsh and Cosgrove, he will receive greater monetary offers than UMaine can provide. And we've got a pretty fair Men's Hockey team, too! ;-) cheers, wayne Wayne T. Smith [log in to unmask] Old Town Landing The College Hockey lists: Hockey-L and Hockey3 at http://lists.Maine.edu/
