Subject: Double Headed Trillium

Hi!
Found an odd painted trillium (Trillium undulatum) . Saw what I
thought were two trilliums growing close together. It turned out to be one
plant, five leaves, a single stem above the leaves for about 1/2". Then the
floral stem forked and there was a normal flower at the top of each. Have
never seen a double-headed one before this.
Beautiful Anenome multifida blooming on the Frenchville Ledges. Three
plants have deep pink flowers.
